Baryotic was once a slur for those from the province. Unrefined. Outsider.
That works for us.
What we do in the islands comes from experience, not trends. It’s a culture we’ve built over time. Now brought into the city.
We found a spot on the grittier side of Makati. Raw, a bit hidden, unpolished, with real street life. A spacious canvas for a studio and a kitchen, with enough room to open into a gallery, communal space, and event hall.
We keep it curious, experimental, and open. Hosting workshops, pop-ups, and projects that align with how we approach design, food, and hospitality.
Studio Baryotic houses Aga Mos design and architecture. The main reason for moving into the city. Being here brings us closer to a wider technical talent pool and allows us to explore new urban concepts, while continuing our focus on bamboo-led architecture and off-grid development.
It builds on our work in Palawan. Now taking on new projects across the Philippines.
Kantina Baryotic is our kitchen and our stage. A way of bringing Tao hospitality into the city. We build on our well-established island cuisine, alongside familiar Filipino street food, working with provincial flavors, smoke, and ferments.
We are exploring a supper club format with good drinks and a more considered sound setup that complements the way we have always hosted social gatherings. Open for collaborations and pop-ups.
